If confirmed, that is the first-ever medal for a Spanish athlete in orienteering at The World Games.

:UKR Sadurska was practically drowning, the assistants in the water had to perform a maneuver. Apparently this is normal? If you have assistance, come DSQ. A crazy sport.

Approximately when in the program was that? Super scary, so naturally I wanna see what exactly happened with my own eyes. :yikes:

Not that I enjoy people drowning or anything :p

Was watching freediving but suddenly heard a classical Chinese music, I thought this was to keep spectators entertained... but it's actually from the dragon boat competition session break

Have to say that the sport is amazing, holding your breath while moving back and forth at the pool is unimaginable to me

Yeah, I swim laps occasionally and used to do competitive swimming (not for long though) and right now if I were to try could probably only do 30-35m before my lungs would explode (and that’s pushing it) :p

Can’t imagine doing multiple laps of that, just insane :yikes:

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
