Yeah well but downhill canoeing is not an Olympic sport/event  

 

People say Dutch are good speed skaters because we go to school on skates (forgetting that in most winters there's no natural ice whatsoever) and Norwegians are good skiers because they go to school on their cross-country ski's, so you know, maybe this is the secret behind Slovakia's success

Looks like some kind of a Tripartite Commission will be formed before session in Lima. The commission will decide which city gets 2024 Olympics and which gets 2028 Olympics (to avoid popularity vote). Joint awarding seems to be having an overwhelming approval today.

 

P.S. Why on Earth do we not have a thread for this?
