however, it's true that in the second inning more people entered the stadium (when the temperature went down a bit)

meanwhile Today  destroyed  in game #7 and  edged out  in a high scoring matchup that was closer than many people might expect in game #8

 

 won by 137 runs, as they scored 364/9 in 50 overs in the first inning, meanwhile  only managed to score 227 runs/all out in 48+ overs

Well yeah it was good but I expected a bit more from the Dutch closer to 270s rather than this. But it's ok I believe teams these days prefer T20s with all leagues in offer.  Italy almost qualified to T20 WC 2024 narrowly lost to Ireland.

in game #10, earlier Today  literally destroyed  winning by 134 runs!   

 

 scored 311/7 in 50 overs in the first inning, despite the effort of the Australian bowlers (Quinton de Kock with a great 100 to lead the charge)

 

the Aussie were basically done after that, and in fact they only scored 177 runs in 40.5 overs before they went all out

 

now the situation in the standings becomes more and more interesting, with  shoulders to the wall after losing both of their opening matches

 

they just can't afford sloppy outings anymore, if they want to make it through to the semifinals
