I mean, great news, but also very sad that he was alchool addicted (I didn't know)

@hckošice

Sincerely I do believe plenty of NHLers are either alcohol or drugs addicts

When hearing slovak players and alcohol always came to my mind Richard Pánik and his " I play for the coyotes " :lol: like even the cops in Arizona have no clue what hockey is

anyway respect to Gaborik :hatoff:

Do you know the lineups for these friendlies and was this Slovakia's first squad? The results shock me, but we also minimal lost some days ago to Japan twice:yikes: Maybe the naturalizations are starting to work? Becouse I see few new names from the USA and Canada in our lineup.

Pretty much half of the team are NT regulars, yes. Sure some of the main big names were not there.

Not surprised by the results though.

I do actually expect the same rapid rise also for your men´s team before the games. I just hope you will manage to keep it and gain from this success also after the Olympics

In men`s it was a much more difficult and there is probably not enough time to do that. After 2006 and the Turin Olympic, unfortunately, there was no qualitative change, whether for women or men.
