Nice fight for first place between :BRA and :COL, and for third with :MEX and :USA. They're all too close, so things will probably change inside this top 4.

:CUB probably secured 5th place today, and :ARG should be 6th by the end.

And all because Mexicans don't seem to like the top of the podium

She's probably the only one in the delegation that truly excelled and achieved her goals, so I'm very proud of her.

The sheer lack of competence on all fronts in organization and broadcast of events is baffling.

This is how scores were displayed after group presentations in rhythmic gymnastics:

These were the actual scores, published HOURS later on the official website:

I've never seen anything like that in my life.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
    • option no.2 for sure, as it's been all this shitstorm organized by the nhl owners through their embedded reporters   ps not that the north american audience looks really aware of the hockey rules and habits outside the nhl (and around their game, too, since they look not to know that just a couple of weeks ago they played 2 nhl matches on an ice sheet of the exact same size of Milan's olympic arena)
    • Are we supposed to take Daly's word for it or is this just public posturing to try and shame the Milan organizers (which they certainly deserve for all the delays) in order to threaten NHL participation?
