And in the very same games Vanuatu won a bronze in women's Beach volleyball. They narrowly lost a 3 setter to the Australian pair before the Australians give a stiff resistance to the Canadians before going down.

Interestingly enough the Canadians are the reigning world champions and one of the favourites for Olympic Gold next year in Tokyo.

Thank you very much for your information.

This news is pretty shocking. Somehow some countries have resorted to shooting to keep people at home.

'Shoot them dead': Philippine President Duterte warns COVID-19 lockdown violators

Excerpts from the news above.

"It is getting worse. So once again I'm telling you the seriousness of the problem and that you must listen," Duterte said late on Wednesday.

"My orders to the police and military ... if there is trouble and there's an occasion that they fight back and your lives are in danger, shoot them dead."

"Is that understood? Dead. Instead of causing trouble, I will bury you."

The Governement and crissis staff will negotiate today again about measures and regulations for the Easter. Some rumors saying during the holiday period we will have a complete curfew to not fuck up in one single day everything we did last month to slow down the spread...the easter monday, the most risky day in Slovak calendar

Hello? This is the WHO calling with a little message: "Keep. Distance. From. Each. Other. We've only been saying that for I don't know, two months or something now. Thanks, bye." :p

So do you know how many tests have been conducted in Argentina thus far?

We are doing around 700 per day and increasing. It's one of the countries with fewer tests per million habitants, so many are focusing on that as the main problem. But I get it. There were a lot problems when everything started and we are doing what we can with the things we have.

WHO have said before. Not all the countries can have the luxury of doing mass testing. It should be alright. Just keep testing and do what is best for the country. I am sure Argentina can overcome this together when they stay united as one.

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.

    • That's so they can play in both venues in Canada.  Will mean that the UEFA Path A winner has to go from Toronto to Los Angeles and then up to Seattle.   Someone was bound to draw the short straw in that group since 4 of the matches are Central, but 2 are in Santa Clara.  Unfortunately, that's Algeria.
