So while the message of your song might not be the most mentally stimulating, I can still enjoy your music. I also recognize that you do this for a living, so you have to try appeal somewhat to mainstream if you want money. My tastes aren’t mainstream, so while the song you submitted last year wasn’t my favorite, I was still good because of the other factors you have going for you. Plus you have a fantastic voice, a very skillful vocal control. It really comes down to how creative you can be, and you’ve been plenty creative, at least from the songs of yours that I have listened to, or that have made my playlist. I mean, it really doesn’t matter how I feel about your music because art is subject, and it’s more about what you get from it. I love the poems I write, but their not for everyone, and they deal with a lot of uncomfortable or political topics. A lot of people are turned off by that, but I love writing them, and that’s what matters in the end. Plus, you never know who’s reading/listening to your work. I’ve been surprised a few times by the standard of people who enjoy the poems are release dates once in a while. P.S This man does a very good cover of Arcade (like seriously damn good). https://youtu.be/7k_4Dz8zabk What if I tell you that my producers often went against my wishes whilst doing the arrangement, because they wanted to commercialise my music more? There's actually this one song, it's at a demo state at the moment, but if I actually release it in 2020 (the virus is fucking up my entire life to an amazing extent), I might consider entering it in TISC, because it's single-handedly the song that I'm most proud of in my 14 years of songwriting. Personally, I don't particularly care about the lyrics. Partly because even with translation something is always lost, so why bother? My top priorities are the general sound, the rhytm of course and certain "X-factor"... Exactly, which is TISC is the world’s greatest minefield. I have made respect for any song that’s able to win, even if their not my favorite. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. That would be the least surprising thing I’ve heard all day. To quote @Monzanator “Money is king” (even if I try to fight that culture, it’s still true). Well, I’m always open to an original song from any Totallympian, so hopefully you’re able to record it. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. The music industry has become just as bad as the other major industries out there. I get that marketing and producing are important, but give the artists what they damn deserve. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. I think I'd need somewhat about 500.000 streams on Spotify for me to get back the money that I actually put in into the recording process of the song. Some of you might think that it's an unsustainable business and you'd be absolutely right, because at the moment, I am not getting my money back. Fair to say that I'm investing nearly everything that I'm making, because I'm not yet at that stage where I can organise my own concerts, because that's where the money is now, if you're an artist. So I survive through: playing private shows/gigs at cafes with my guitarist, releasing music as a solo artist, private shows and bigger venues + TV with Original Copy, back vocalists for three of the biggest Lithuanian artitst at the moment and songwriting credits, that makes a few Euros here and there

Joking aside, it’s whatever. Just participating is fun enough for me.
