Ana Laura Portuondo Isasi has officially qualified for Paris in judo (women’s +78kg) with a team invitational quota through the Olympic Rankings!

First time in history that Canada will be present in the Olympic mixed team event!

Is this somewhere or going of your math?

God I hope not. I wish the continental quota goes to 66 or 90 kg

Not yet…

There’s still a couple of “smaller” events left in the qualification period called Opens, Krieber Gagnon and (Kelly) Deguchi are entered in them. Each tournament offers 100 points to the winner, so still a lot to be decided.

Surprisingly though, Frascadore isn’t entered in any of them. Not sure why, he’s not that far behind in the race for the continental quota…

Tyler Mislawchuk, Charles Paquet, and Emy Legault qualify for Paris in triathlon through the Olympic Rankings!

Unfortunately Dominika Jamnicky just misses out, which means we won’t be competing in the team event.

I’m not seeing either of them in the entry lists anymore, so it looks like Kelly Deguchi will get the continental quota in women’s 52kg.

Would’ve preferred for it to be Frascadore :(

Edit: Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. Calculations were wrong

With the latest update of the IJF rankings, it looks like Portuondo Isasi won’t be going to Paris. My apologies.
