The Italian pair have a disastrous performance: the score is much worse than at the European Championships and also than at the previous 2 World Championships. In general, they have been doing worse at every World Championship since 2023. Assuming that in 1 year one Russian pair returns at a high level, the chances of an Olympic medal are almost zero. -
