Joj TV group (having Joj šport) and Markíza Tv group the main commercial TV networks companies in the country are leading a war against czech TV channels whom Slovak viewers watch more than slovak channels (it started mainly because of expensive movies and TV shows which people intended to watch on czech TVs - including me, I do not remember last time I watched a movie or Tv serie on slovak chennel lol, arguing they do not have the rights to show it in Slovakia while Slovak channels have to pay for the rights and none watch them but rather watch them on czech Tv channels...) This led to close some czech TV channels in Slovakia... but, then came Joj group which get the TV rights for the Ice Hockey Worlds and you know the issue they are furious people will instead watch the hockey worlds on Czech Sport Tv than on Joj šport which argue by paying a lot of money for these rights in Slovakia, while ČT Sport does not have the rights to broadcast in this country at all and blah blah blah... so they managed to convince sadly the Czech public TV to cut their sport channel for Slovakia... Yep, dumb and sad.
