To be fair of the 4th I wasn't expecting Dunfee to be anywhere near the top in the 20km.

I’m honestly delighted by that result. It will give him a lot of confidence for Paris (especially after his specialty got discontinued from the Olympics) without creating pressure.

 

I also really didn’t expect him to do this well tbh.

Only two medal chances for the next couple of days, and they both come today. Katzberg in the men's hammer throw, and Ahmed in the men's 10,000m. Although Ahmed has been in subpar form this season, so he could be well off the time needed for a medal.

Yeah, I checked the schedule before the competition started and noticed most of the medal chances came during the final weekend. Next Saturday in particular has a lot of medal chances with the decathlon, women's shot put, men's 800m, and the men's 4x100m relay.
