Former British team eventing horse Quarrycrest Echo ('Red') got euthanized suddenly due to a rare disease.

 

'Red' was sold to Japan last Winter in a surprising move, considering it was one of the selection frontrunners for the highly competitive British team. One has to wonder though if the reason behind the sale was a discovery of the said rare disorder. Sadly, it wouldn't be the first time someone tried to capitalize on their bad luck...

Starting this weekend, :HUN Hungary will be hosting European Dressage Championships for Ponies, Children, Juniors, Young Riders *and* U25. The festivities will last almost to the end of the month (August 9-30).

Hungarian hosts placed 7th (out of 15). Ahead of Switzerland among others. That's some ground-breaking stuff.

      Yea she did not meet the minimum points. Since the event doesn't have enough qualifiers, its possible the FIS still grants her a quota

      Thats good, but I think Galica should take some rest because of his age and Suchodolski could be replaced by Skorusa for example to give him any chance to show in World Cup
