Apparently we scored a goal to Canada in the U20 World Championships after 3 hours and 7 seconds of play  Last time it was Dávid Šoltés who scored at time 39:57 the 4th January 2015 in Toronto :d then we lost the next 2 matches 0-5 (2017) and 0-6 (2018) until today Oliver Okuliar scored in the 3rd period

However, thanks god this tournament is over for this team  The only positives we can take from this championship was the young Stacha, the 17 years old defencer was clearly our most positive surprise. :yes In other side pretty disappointing torunament from our North American leagues guys who were expected to be the leaders of this already too weak team Čajkovič and Okuliar, but both were pretty awful here

All in all once again we survived, this time wth more luck than in the previous editions, so the goal fullfiled, Slovak U20 with still clean record of never relegated country in this age category. however, next year it will be really difficult, it seems we will be in the group with :SUI and :GER , in the fight to avoid the relegation round...

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
