News from the 2026 World Baseball Classic:

 

Today it was announced that Canada will play in Pool A in San Juan, Puerto Rico alongside  Puerto Rico,  Cuba,  Panama, and one other qualifier TBD

 

Very happy with the group. 3 countries they've never played against in the history of the WBC and don't have to play the US for the first time ever. With a crop of new talent, there's the potential to make it out of the group stage for the first time ever.
