Sherrock is pretty poor in terms of her scoring, but absolutely killing Dobey on finishes, holy crap

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Too bad, but Dobey really was the by far better player. Sherrock depended entirely on her finishes.

So far really interesting, unexpected championships. Well done for Fallon and ladies in darts, who are well underestimated. :SLO had its second competitor, after 10 years absence (Osmann Kijamet) came Benjamin Pratnemer and well tortured Justin Pipe.

MvG is still not on his better form, but yesterday was much better. It is interesting no one can achieve 9 darter, when bonus prize money is on stake. Today will be very interesting, especially between Dimitri and Lewis. In the end, I am hoping for final MVG vs. Price or Wright, we'll see.

EDIT: Dutch final between MvG and De Zwaan would also be really awesome. First full Dutch final in history?

In the PDC it'd be the first full Dutch final, yes. In the BDO there's already been Klaasen vs Van Barneveld which was won by qualifier and rookie Klaasen.

To be fair about the women: they are 'underestimated' because generally they just don't play very well. An average over 90 is rare, often times one doesn't even see it go over 80. Mikuru Suzuki won last year's final with an average of 90.12 and that was the highest ever (!) for a women's final. In the quarterfinals she beat Sharon Prins where Suzuki and Prins had averages of 61.70 and 59.10, which - honestly - is just absolutely godawful. There are probably three women who are capable of playing at a decent level for more than a few legs, Sherrock, Lisa Ashton and Suzuki, maybe Anastasiya Dobromyslova on a good day. Lorraine Winstanley, Deta Hedman and Aileen de Graaf are all top-8 players but incredibly up and down. Now there's 15-year old Beau Greaves who qualified for the BDO world championships and is the 6th seed there, let's see how that goes.

Meh, Darius Labanauskas kicked out Steve Beaton :(

Which is nothing against Labanauskas, just to be clear about that :p

Still very early days, but Labanauskas is giving a rather mediocre Van Gerwen quite a run for his money so far :yikes:
