hckošice 14,822 Posted March 29 #83 Share Posted March 29 (edited) Slaf played last night his last match as a teenager he´ll turn 20 tomorrow. he ended his teenager career by extending his own Montreal Canadiens record of longest point streak by a teenager in the franchise history to 9 consecutive matches and with scoring his 41st point this season by extending his own Montreal Canadiens franchise record of top point scorer teenager of the Habs in one season. A glimpse into Slafkovsky’s D+2 progression: • 10 points in his last 9 games • 23 points in his last 25 games • 33 points in his last 41 games • 39 points in his last 57 games Or • 76 point pace the last 2 months • 66 point pace the last 3 months • 56 point pace the… pic.twitter.com/oxxp4TLPAY — The Habitant (@the_habitant) March 29, 2024 and the most funny stat, since McKinnon did not get a point last night, believe it or not, but Slaf has now currently the THE LONGEST ACTIVE POINT STREAK IN THE NHL JURAJ SLAFKOVSKÝ HAS THE LONGEST ACTIVE POINT STREAK IN THE NHL https://t.co/H0TW7GCvyV — NHL Insider Max Pacioretty 🌸 💭 (@NHLlnsider67) March 29, 2024 Edited March 29 by hckošice Josh, Wumo and orangeman
heywoodu 15,135 Posted March 29 #84 Share Posted March 29 With the playoffs closing in, which is the part of the season I do kind of try to follow, I've got a question: what are the main story lines going on right now/this season? Like, is there a certain team that is massively underperforming and surprisingly in danger of not making the playoffs, is there a team that is a sensation this season, something like that . Like, is there a certain team that is massively underperforming and surprisingly in danger of not making the playoffs, is there a team that is a sensation this season, something like that my personal takes... team overperforming compared to the pre-season expectations (and the past years results): Vancouver Canucks, definitely the biggest surprise of the year teams doing better than expected, but nothing special: Winnipeg and Nashville teams heavily underperforming (and basically out of the playoff race): Pittsburgh above all, then New Jersey at a lesser extent, also Minnesota, Seattle and Calgary also didn't match the early predictions the defending champions Vegas are also having a modest season, but they had been injury plagued and however they're still going to the PO, where they might be very difficult to beat the Chicago Blackhawks showing how difficult is to rebuild a team from scratch, even after drafting a generational talent like Connor Bedard (also because of a mangement not doing well with the other tech choices and too many injuries to some key players, tbh) individual efforts: Auston Matthews chasing the highest goal scoring performance since many, many years; the race for the scoring title between Kucherov, McDavid and McKinnon, all 3 reaching numbers rarely seen in the 21st Century but above all, the year in Canada has been dominated by the scandals surrounding the game of Hockey, both among the professionals (5 players charged with sex assault accusations) and the youth system (so many allegations to the so-called coaches and educators, lots of attempts to hide all the dirty stuff at the top level of Hockey Canada followed by resignations and dismissals of many propminent officials)... all in all, not a great year for Hockey in Canada Josh, Topicmaster1010, Wumo and 1 other 3

stockblock 39 Posted April 13 #90 Share Posted April 13 15 hours ago, Josh said: Officially confirmed. There is much more to this story... Arizona Coyotes will be sold to NHL for 1 billion. Then NHL will sell to Salt Lake for 1.2 billion. IF the Coyotes complete their new stadium within the next 5 years they will be immediately granted a expansion franchise along with one other city.
