The :USA held trials this past weekend at Soldier Hollow to determine teams for both the World Cup and IBU Cup teams.  It was rollerski, but was postponed a few hours on the third day due to snow!

Here are the US athletes for the first three World Cup events:

Clare Egan (Cape Elizabeth, Maine)

Susan Dunklee (Barton, Vt.)

Joanne Reid (Grand Junction, Colo.)

Emily Dreissigacker (Morrisville, Vt.).

Sean Doherty (Center Conway, N.H.)

Leif Nordgren (Hinesburg, Vt.)

Travis Cooper (Kenai, Alaska)

Alex Howe (Gilford, N.H.)

The women's team looks solid, the men's soso.  Neither team will do really well in the relay,   I would love anything in the top 10, that that would be a minor miracle.

Well, sadly, I don't see anything changing for Team Lithuania this year.

There's really no hope with the women and not much hope on the junior side either

Kaukėnas is probably going to continue to underperform, Karol is not getting any faster, so hopes go with Strolia, I guess.

The male juniors although are showing promise, so perhaps we can keep the men's team afloat.
