Bolzano won the first game of the series and saved (for now) the home ice advantage thanks to a goal scored by Christian Thomas.

The goal was favoured by a capital mistake by the Red Bull defence, when they lost the puck in their own end and the Italian forwards were able to capitalize on that.

However, the whole game was dominated by Red Bull Salzburg and only a great Sam Harvey and a master "parking the bus" tactics saved the day for the home team.

Game #2 is scheduled for Tomorrow night in Salzburg, but if Bolzano don't change their attitude, it will be very difficult to come home with a positive result.
