We used 12 officials all armed with rulers and a bachelor's degree in math to determine that Ireland most likely ran faster than Hungary.

Haha. Well thankfully there was no doubt about that but there’s something suspicious about this lol.

I can see it now... “Well we can’t relegate Hungary after all but we will have too many teams in the league next year so let’s promote Belarus and let them host the Super League” :d

Ireland got 9 points, Turkey 11, Netherlands 10 in 4 x 400.

Now I'm very confused

Yeah, I reckon they must have had some approximate idea of the time just from the TV replay, so would have known that the Hungarians were not near Ireland's 3:08.
