and now something you do not see often.

A current IOC member broke the world record in a Olympic event :d

Danka Barteková qualified to the final in Qatar with a perfect 125 score in the W Skeet qualifiers, which is the new and absolute possible WR. The previous one (also registered in Dauha) was set by :CHN Wei Meng 124 in the Asian Champs in 2019

the WR curse continues...:p

:SVK Bartekova is out of the Final match after shooting the new WR in the qualification round.

great win by Rossetti! :cheer:

by the way, I always said that this format might be exciting for people, but it's unfair to the shooters.

Hancock missed only 2 targets in 2 days (193/195, first miss on the 181st target) and finally doesn't come home with the Gold medal

however, Today the Skeet only talks US English and Italian...all of 6 medals were shared by the 2 super-powerhouses of this sport (3 medals, 1 gold each).

    • India and Pakistan totally losing the plot in this sport, sad.

    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.

    • Have you already started looking for the hundreds of commemorative 2 euro coins? There are loads of them, including sports-themed ones.
    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
