Don't forget that the water was also full of shit.

"Test results showed levels of E. Coli up to 20 times above the accepted limit and faecal coliform bacteria seven times higher than the permitted levels".

Ah yeah, that might explain the Japanese female swimmer saying the water was 'a little bit stinky'

Wonderful, warm, shit-filled water. Am I glad I didn't become an open water swimmer.

If it was so why were the athletes made to swim.

Because international federations like to pretend they care about athletes' health. With 'pretend' being a main word there.

Well, just like the Olympic test events themselves, it's nice that we're getting this all out of our system before the real event next summer.

During the Olympics there's literally no time for anything besides watching sports, discussing actual sports, eating (while watching sports), using the bathroom (while watching sports) and sleeping (while dreaming of sports), so that's easy.

I only need water. I can go 17 days without food. Plus, food takes too long to prepare. Also, that’s what a bucket beneath your chair is for :yes

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.
    • Ski Cross WC Craigleith     Men Gold- Federico Tomasoni Silver-  Kaleb Barnum Bronze-  Kristofor Mahler   First career WC podium for Barnum!    Women Gold-  Sandra Naeslund Silver-  Marielle Berger Sabbatel Bronze-  Fanny Smith   Full Results
    • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place. She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.

    • some changes in the team and less importance to the sport, the two big teams until 2022/2023 ( and ) in south america started to decrease a lot and in the other hand the 3rd in South America () is growing a lot, is really impressive. We are currently the favourites for the LA2028 quota
