Since I’m bored  I’ll try to predict the WRs that’ll be broken throughout the remainder of the 2023 season

 

Men

Mondo Duplantis - Pole Vault  

Eluid Kipchoge - Marathon  

Grant Holloway  - 110m Hurdles

Ryan Crouser  - Shot Put

 

Women

Sydney McLaughlin - 400m Hurdles 

Yulimar Rojas - Triple Jump 

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce - 100m 

Faith Kipyegon  - 1500m

Women's 100m seems like the least likely of this list.

Situation is complicated, but it seems to be fully effective, National Federations must also implement the WA rules, which  does. Expect all sorts of kerfuffles, ructions, stramashes & stooshies when it is the ‘s turn.

In USA it's the usual problem with NCAA which technically is amateur and they don't have to recognize professional sports' regulations?

Yeah, but really World Athletics is very much looser than FIFA so it is the same issue in every country, because WA has nothing to do with FISU, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games etc etc..

16 year old Cameron Myers  took down another one of Ingebrigtsen's age world bests today at Aussie Champs with 3:38.02 in the 1500.

I hope WA forces them to adopt the new regulations in order for meets to be sanctioned and count towards worlds qualification.
