It will be the second Pan American medal for both in this event... although Quiroz won it 2011 and Escobar in 2015.

It's also likely that one, if not both quotas will be declined by Argentina due to them naturally qualifying 3 or 4 athletes through the rankings. Though the other two athletes need to stay within the top 300 to be eligible.

I still is Jarry and Guarachi's to lose, but if they have a mental break down, Bolivia may be looking at their first gold
