Ah, Richard Virenque, the absolute showcase of Tour de France organizers hypocrisy

"Let's ban certain dopers from any role in the Tour ever, but let's keep pulling Virenque into the celebrations and honour him as a hero time and time again :d"

The organizers still would have blamed Sagan had this guy hit Cavendish (if he was in the race this year):

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
