this is his first senior major championship, hopefully the first of many
I don't like to make it a general statement from an individual fault (for instance, Today Arbuzov played a smart and truly fair game and won a more than deserved gold medal)
however, yes, some Russians are quite rude (to say the least) on the mat and should be kept more at bay before they get someone injured
Yesterday Lavrentev went beyond any acceptable limit on and off the mat (and I don't know if it's worse playing dirty on the mat or being unfair off the mat, according to the strict judo protocol) and should pay for that, not get just a verbal warning
Did somebody even wondering that russians violate rules in judo multiple times, considering how Dolgova try to break Bilodid's arm during Europeans 2021 after 'mate'?
