Rastislav Eliáš is the HC Košice Juniors team GK :d but yeah, I don´t mind whoever win, it´s mainly for fun for the kids to find friends and have a lot of great time and that´s what matters the most at the YOG. All are winners and champions :)

btw this pic is just :hug:

Today Anastasiya Kuzmina (the ambassador of our delegation - yeah each youth games we have one famous athlete doing this staff job) organized a spontaneous running training around the vortex. the idea was to find out if the inner circle of the complex actually had 2.9 kilometers. anyone could join but most of the vortex inhabitants was just looking what the hell our athletes are doing and why they are running accros the building :p

@hckosice Do you get your pictures courtesy of the SVK NOC, or the OIS?

That was the arrangement. We technically @mrv86 was third, but he hasn’t time in a long time, and @OlympicIRL was fourth (though he’s needed to run our TISC entertainment news branch :p). Then, @Dragon is fifth. So technically your sixth, but hey, who’s counting? :dunno:

I may return to reporting duties at some point but I can say it won’t be for winter sports which I know nothing about and rarely watch :d

    • This is winter , image how will be their summer T'chrump said we gonna burn the middle east to please the husband "Satanyahu" ...apparently his ass is burnning first
    • Nah, I don't think that we'll have some problems.
    • The last time this happened - all three athletes on the podium had zero podiums before - was Les Saisies sprint in December 1990: Uschi Disl, Elena Melnikova (future Sergei Tchepikov's wife) & Kerstin Moring. The latter two never finished on the World Cup podium again. This was also the race where Disl became the second youngest World Cup winner ever (currently down to third because of Neuner).
    • In general almost all Fisi sports have been doing terribly this season. One debacle after another and the Colturi case completes the scale of embarrassment. Apart from single star like Goggia, Brignone or Pellegrino, only the alpine snowboard looks good.
    • Unfortunately the Italian men's team is poorly prepared for the season. Everyone is in terrible shooting form. Somewhere a mistake was made in the preparations. We are recording a big regression compared to the previous season. It`s becoming more and more likely that we will not stand on the podium even once this season (I can't remember the last time something like that happened). In the Nations Cup we are in 6th place and we may lose 6 starting places in the World Cup from next season. I`m increasingly worried about what will happen in the Olympic season. Without Vittozzi returning to top form, we completly will not count.    In general our entire winter season looks very bad: biathlon as above, cross-country skiing - still only Pellegrino, luge - poor form, alpine skiing without Goggia and Brignone doesn`t exist.
    • how is hell , 3 dead they say ..i dont believe it
    • A few updates from the IFA after last month's Board of Directors meeting.   Looks like there will be no host quota for  China at the 2025 World Games. This is surprising after the IFA went to Chengdu last year to put on a clinic. No doubt that given a year  China has the resources and athletes to field a team that would be competitive in the placement matches.    Namibia will replace  China on the women's side. While  will replace  on the men's side.     Namibia finished 8th at the last Women's World Championships, while  New Zealand finished 11th at the 2023 Men's World Championship.
    • Once again our snow luck holds!  Rain & melt yesterday turn into a beautiful fresh fall overnight!
    • WR track cycling quotas MTP, MTS, WTP: WTS:   Now  is unlikely to use them, so we shall see.
