it's no way near to the individual rankings for prestige and importance, but there's also a Nations Ranking by discipline...

and this year's Boulder Nations Ranking was won by :JPN Japan (1693 Pts) ahead of :SLO Slovenia (1359 Pts) and :FRA France (766 Pts)...

congrats to them...:hatoff:

if it's Boulder, you can stop Janja...

if it's Lead, you just can't stop her also in that case...

before last night, 56% of her world cup entries are wins...and she's never missed a Lead final in her career...:yikes:

that's :SLO Janja Garnbret, one of the true greats in the entire world of sports...

drama in Chamonix! :yikes:

Janja's streak finally came to an end in dramatic fashion, after she made an unbelievable and unexplicable mistake in the semifinals, which eliminated her for the first time in her career before the final of a Lead competition...:facepalm:

on the other hand, the 15-year young Korean sensation Seo got her first World Cup victory at her second competition ever (last week she was only second to Garnbret in her WC debut)...

among the men, instead, the greatest male climber ever, Adam Ondra, won a very difficult competition, where no climber could make it to the top of the route...

    • And this is the final Medal Table fo the XX Bolivarian Games in
    • Agreed. But OTOH, the chances of a Male Team pursuit medal also seem rather slim at the moment, so why the hassle of dropping someone.
    • I have a sports database with millions of entries, which I then convert graphically on my Wikipedia sandbox.
    • Wouldn't be surprised to see the same this time. The men's 500m has basically on or with luck two medal chances, but certainly not three (semi-realistic) ones. With Beau Snellink for now not exactly on his way to an Olympic ticket and Patrick Roest still questionable, that might only leave Chris Huizinga, Jorrit Bergsma and Marcel Bosker, and that is not exactly a group one would want to have in the team pursuit.
    • 4 years ago the third Male 500 metres qualifier was dropped for a Team pursuit rider.
    • In the 5000 she probably won't (first alternate at the moment).      What are the chances of the matrix "prioritizing" a mTP squad ?
