They are a new pair, but to be fair Brandie did make the quarterfinals at the Olympics

Early exit by  Stam/Schoon. They peaked too early this season, when the other teams were only warming up.

 

Four Brazilian teams left in the tournament on the mens side is also a pretty impressive statistic. Norwegians Mol/Sorum still looking like the tournament favorites though.

If our women's teams didn't have the best luck, our 4 men's teams are through to QF. Very tough matches now, but at least we have one guaranteed team in SF.

actually they show the sets won in the graphics...

It's not intuitive at all, as it is only a stripe beside the name of the team, but still...

 

p.s. worst graphics ever...not even to be said (perfectly in line with the empty stadium's landscape)...

As @phelpssaid, that little black stripe means a team has won a set. Probably they think this look cool.

 

 

 

Funny enough, VNL went the opposite direction and added more things to the main graphics.

Brazil has 1 guaranteed medal after failing to win any at the last Worlds AND Olympics. I suspect we will win 2 (probably a bronze in both).
