I know apart from Trentin it's not the strongest field one can imagine, but holy mother of God, Van der Poel completely destroyed everyone in the short final uphill finish :yikes:

Rarely seen, the Watts he puts on the road there is just out of this world. Not saying he's the favourite for the world title, but he is a very, very, very dangerous candidate and the Dutch team should without a doubt work 100% for his chances.

Quebec tonight, that's always a pretty fun race :)

The bad news for everyone who is not Remco Evenepoel is that Remco Evenepoel is on the start list, but it'll be cool to see who can fight for second.

Just now, AlFHg said:

I would rather say Sagan too much confident

That too, but going at more than 2km before the finish was just way too early from all of them..

I don’t think so, if he could have gone alone he would have won. With 5 of them, with van Avermaet and Sagan good sprinters, good tactics is taking a wheel. Sagan’s overconfidence in sprint has caused the peloton to come back, in my opinion

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
