Well tang yuanting and bao yixin are both excellent wd players for sure but already left china.

Bao Yixin won the bronze medal at the 2017 National Games, and then the injury is really serious. If you have to let her play, she can only go to the Tokyo Paralympics.

We are all very sorry, but her situation does not seem as optimistic as you think. At the 2017 National Games, she won the fourth place in the team event.

I don't know much about this. We only hope that she can enjoy the happiness that badminton brings to her in Australia.

very sad case for tang yuanting. she is the victim of circumstances. she is wrongly paired up with yu yang and she quit playing at a very young age. so sorry for her. how to help tang yuanting now?

Maybe you can go to her to learn badminton and help her economically.

Yu Yang is the main force preparing for the Olympic Games. Therefore, all personnel choices are carried out around her. If Tang Yuanting paired with young player, she will not be able to participate in the Olympics.

which is such a sad news here. everyone knows yu yang is over the hill. but then why is it that yu yang must be send to play in olympic? why that kind of favoritism?

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
