Most athletes are right at their main peak period, end of February to early March. It's not the first time athletes try and get their peak a little later when the last competition of the season is in Calgary or Salt Lake. dcro 10,209 Posted March 10, 2019 #48 Share Posted March 10, 2019 These records are about as exciting as the swimming records from 2009. Meaning not. Outrageous inflation, they are almost meaningless. #banbestmen
heywoodu 13,881 Posted March 10, 2019 #49 Share Posted March 10, 2019 1:42.9 or something for Roest tonight and he takes over first place in the Adelskalendern. Which would be a bit of a shame in my opinion, since Shani Davis apart from being cool was also incredibly allround (winning both allround and sprint championships in the post-80's era is incredible). OlympicsFan 791 Posted March 10, 2019 #50 Share Posted March 10, 2019 Lol @ Nuis not being disqualified. Easily the most scandalous decision of this winter sport season. Also interesting that apparently 5-6 dutch athletes had very suspicious blood values, but noone was caught doping. Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
