Looks like this thing that helps hammer throwers but disturbs in discus also disturbs in javelin

Hammer is far heavier than discus & javelin, mind you. As they call it in downhill alpine skiing, the weight carries you alone. If the air in Doha is 'stale' because of the humidity (checked on google and it's listed 73% today) so that means the heat is stale in the air so to speak, that's why there's nothing there to carry the discus & javelin. Hammer isn't affected as much because of its weight IMO.

That explains poor level of discus and javelin but not better level of hammer ;)

Poor level in javelin? Looks to me like every other javelin qualifiers to be honest.

Of course it is. Still no Q which is 63,50. Two years ago we had seven, four years ago eight such a results. In both of this 62m didn't give a 'q' and here almost for sure will.

They seriously put women's 200 m and 400 m heats in the same session??

I guess that's yet another consequence of that mixed BS...

Maybe or maybe it's just supidity. Remember that last year at ECh finals of Women's 400m and 4x400m was in the same session?

Yes, prevents Miller-Uibo from going for the double.  She should be a superstar.

Sub-62 was enough in Rio though. And probably will be the same here when all is concluded.
