Olympian1010 7,956 Posted January 19 #291 Share Posted January 19 Both ski jumping competitions on Day 1 have been moved forward an hour from their original time. The men's Super G on Sunday was pushed back 1 1/2 hours from the original start time. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,956 Posted January 19 #292 Share Posted January 19 The IOC has the participation statistics at 78 NOCs and 1,802 athletes. Assuming all athletes/NOCs take part, we'll have one less NOC, but more athletes, than Lausanne 2020. Josh 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,956 Posted January 19 #294 Share Posted January 19 Alpine Skiing not being broadcast is really annoying considering that’s where the majority of NOCs will have a representative Josh 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. Don't market an event as a big deal if nobody is going to be able to really watch it anyway. A massive majority of sports fans (in countries where winter sports are significant) won't even have any clue the whole thing is going on in the next weeks. God knows it won't make any news here. Yes, luge is underway (live-timing works great) and ski jumping has entered the trial round. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Olympian1010 7,956 Posted January 20 #298 Share Posted January 20 There's a storm making its way across the Korean peninsula today. Snowy and breezy conditions at the ski jump, so could shake stuff up for the women's competition. Josh 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
