Ole-Einar was first married to :ITA biathlete Natalie Santer; don't know if there were children.

I was thinking about Bjoerndalen and Domrachava's daughter.

Yes, her name is Xenia and she was born October 1st, 2016 so she's only 5 yo now.

Hoping for a Repinc vs. Grotian battle on the women's side. A bit surprised that those two won't compete at junior level. The italians also look good as usual and the norwegians are unpredictable since none of them have any recent results.

On the men's side things look less predictable, although Betemps should be the favorite. Engelmann from Germany and Trojer from Slovenia look like interesting talents as well. Also a guy named "Sivert Björndalen" will be competing as well ... :mumble:

Also you forgot about Sara Scattolo and obviously Sara Andersson who's got to be the favorite.

I am shook. The german women have crazy depth and Albert Engelmann really is the most promising male german talent in a long time. A bit disappointed that Grotian didn't do better, but i think she doesn't quite have the endurance yet. I think the sprint is better suited for her. Also i thought that Grotian would be the one, but Tannheimer might actually be it. Tannheimer is one year younger than Grotian and already faster, she will be able to come back two more times to compete at youth level. Andersson and Zorc also seem like decent talents, although the fact that Tannheimer is equaling their skiing speed while being two years younger should put their talent into perspective. Overall i am very happy from a german perspective (although of course Russia and France not competing means that all german talents would probably have finished 3-5 spots lower if everyone would have competed). Finally the german talents have superior skiing speed. Hopefully they will be able to translate it to senior level.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Wow, clear shoot for :GER Iva Moric, that is unbelievable under those conditions.

Hope she'll consider changing allegiance...

Very interesting top 10.  9 different nations represented, and the duplicate is Germany.

3 medals for Germany on the first day, well done.

Only 56 finished the race for the Youth Women.

Campbell Wright is starting #1 for the Junior Men's Individual.  Quite a few WC starts for the Junior Individual.

    • (Quiet gaming, zero social pressure, no calls, no KYC… just peace.) As someone who’s definitely on the introverted side, I’ve always hated anything that feels intrusive — long registrations, support calls, verification uploads, or sites that spam you into interacting. So over the past year, I tested a bunch of crypto casinos specifically to see which ones are introvert-friendly: ✔ no forced KYC ✔ fast payouts (so no long back-and-forth with support) ✔ clean, quiet UI ✔ no pop-ups and no social pressure ✔ easy deposits ✔ minimal interaction needed Below is what actually worked for me. ⭐ My Top Crypto Casinos for Introverts (Real Testing Results) Casino Why It’s Introvert-Friendly Speed Link JackBit Quiet UI, no KYC, instant payouts 7 min 👉 Play at JackBit BetWhale Low-pressure bonuses, simple layout 14 min 👉 Play at BetWhale BitStarz Fast cashouts, no forced conversations 9 min 👉 Play at BitStarz ThunderPick Clean minimalist design 18 min 👉 Play on ThunderPick 7Bit Casino Extremely chill, no notifications 22 min 👉 Play at 7Bit 1. JackBit – The Most Comfortable Casino for Quiet Players If you’re introverted like me, JackBit is basically perfect. No popups, no aggressive promos, no forced messages — just a clean interface and silent, fast gameplay. My experience as an introvert: I deposited and withdrew without any human interaction No KYC requests (crypto only) The layout is simple and not socially “loud” Withdrawals landed in under 10 minutes It’s the casino I keep coming back to simply because nothing bothers me.   👉 Play at JackBit (Zero Social Pressure) 2. BetWhale – Best for Quiet Bonus Hunters BetWhale surprised me — their bonuses are generous without requiring chats, emails, or ID checks. Why it works for introverts: Wagering progress updates silently No pushy pop-ups The whole site feels “low-pressure” Support never contacts you unless you message first It’s a very low-interaction platform.   👉 Play at BetWhale (Smooth & Simple) 3. BitStarz – Fast Payouts Means Less Interaction BitStarz is great if you want to deposit, play, withdraw and leave — quick and efficient, no conversations needed. What I like: Withdrawals are some of the fastest online No random KYC prompts if you use crypto Very stable gameplay (no need to contact support) A calm, mature-feeling interface Perfect for players who like things to “just work.”   👉 Play at BitStarz (Quick & Quiet Gaming) 4. ThunderPick – Best for Introverts Who Like Betting Too ThunderPick has one of the smoothest, cleanest interfaces I’ve used. Everything is intuitive and visually quiet — no clutter, no noise. Introvert-friendly perks: Great for casual betting without chat rooms Mobile interface is extremely calm No forced community features You can switch between casino & sports without talking to anyone     👉 Play on ThunderPick (Minimalist Interface) 5. 7Bit – The Chillest, Quietest Crypto Casino 7Bit feels like a casino designed for people who want to be left alone. Why I recommend it: No aggressive marketing No forced KYC unless you use fiat Huge game library with silent browsing Simple cashier with no need for support interactions It’s a very relaxed environment.   👉 Play at 7Bit (Totally Low-Pressure) Final Thoughts — The Introvert’s Casino Shortlist If you want a quiet, private gaming experience without feeling watched, talked to, or pressured: 🏆 Best Overall for Introverts: JackBit 🏆 Best Quiet Bonus Experience: BetWhale 🏆 Fastest Stress-Free Payouts: BitStarz 🏆 Best Minimalist UI: ThunderPick 🏆 Most Chill Game Library: 7Bit
    • It's not a coincidence that a lot of the matches that are earlier in the day are in Atlanta and Houston and Dallas where they have roofs.  And most of the games in the outdoor stadiums are later in the day.
    • The best athletes will all be there anyway – it's easier to get a spot in the top 10-15. Only the great champions were ahead of Gismondi today.
    • They are not "oppressed enough" to be mention here.
    • And remember the Olympic Paradox - it is slightly easier to get a medal at the Olympics than at a World Cup because in the Olympics the numbers of racers from the powerful nations are capped at 4.
    • Jimmy Mariano  basketball. 84 years old.   Member of the Philippine men’s basketball team at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Flag bearer for the Philippine delegation at those Games.
    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
    • The last day was a great success, for first. Secondly, even 20 medals are fewer than the 22 from 2023 and 34 from 2021
