lol, I haven't watched volley since the last SOG, so I was very confused when there weren't tech time-outs in Budapest.

The top 3 in Group A is very clear to me ( ), with   and  battling it out for the last spot in the Round of 16. That's really a toss-up for me, as I think they could all take that final spot.

and the day after came the 4th win in history at a major tournament, during the first two days the girls equaled the amount of wins our womens volleyball achieved in all history so far until this ECh, but now I guess we slowly arrived to the end of the fairytale against BLR GER and RUS :d However the historic qualification for the knockout-round is very close and it´s already one dream achievement for us.

Romania was simply a much better team than us today and I honestly lost all my faith in our qualification from the GS. Uninspired, weak performance with many errors.

I am not that surprised at this kind of results. When the GS is so pointless for the top teams because of the tournament having waaaay too many subpar teams, they tend to "fall asleep" during the first stage of the tournament.

That's true, but at the other hand it is always a bigger motivation for the weaker teams to play against the strongest ones, especially if such nations are the host. I think :FIN played very well today and deservedly got a point, we'll see how they perform against other teams. Also this shows that the gap between teams gets smaller (not only in volleyball, in sports like handbal, basketball or hockey surprising results also happen more frequently than they used to) and the sport is evolving.

      Yes, that's Haaland's cousin Braut Brunes. If he has a bad day Raków is usually scrapping for 1-0 victory unless they concede a goal. Ivi Lopez is the playmaker but he's not as sharp since an injury last season.   Lech & Jagiellonia are the two strongest clubs right now, Raków probably #3. I discount league surprises and of course Legia which is stuck in relegation zone

      On transfermarkt, Raków is worth 42 million euros and Jagiellonia only 32, but it is known that this is only a theory. On paper, the most valuable clubs in Poland are Lech and Raków: €42 million each. Raków have a strong Norwegian attacker from what I can see on internet.

      Fiorentina gets another  club Raków Czestochowa in R16     Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.

      Fiorentina must play seriously from the first match, becous they played with a reserve squad in both matches against Jagiellonia, with the exception of extra time in the second. Unfortunately, Fiorentina are still close to the relegation zone in Serie A, which explains the staff decisions in the Conference League. It they advance further, they will probably play against Crystal Palace in 1/4 final.
