After two days of sailing, it looks like we may have these battles for the Olympic spots...

is provisionally holding both quotas on offer after 9/12 races.

Not too surprising, on paper they were the best eligible athletes on the field. Still Singapore and Thailand are holding strong and barring a large disaster this may come down to the medal race.

Olympic quotas for Malaysia... Althuogh I'm not sure about Laser since are tied on Net Points (and Singaproe is ahead on Total points).

However the official website says that Malaysia won two medals in laser, so they earned both quotas

It's the best result from individual races, Malaysia won 4 vs. Singapore's 3
