Men's Kumite -75kg Olympic Champion Luigi Busà is injured and won't be able to compete here in Dubai...

for some unknown reasons Iran is not going to participate in this competition. they were supposed to leave yesterday but then all of a sudden they cancelled everything.

 

officially because some of team members are COVID positive but that's a lie. they don't even train together to become infected altogether. there is another reason behind this, we still don't know what.

 

what a terrible news, Iran won the last 3 team Kumite gold medals and they were looking for the 4th gold in a row.

 Suchankova had the day of her life until the semifinal bout, destroying each and every opponent she faced, but then she missed out the chance to earn a spot in the Gold Medal match against the great Serbian, Prekovic...

still, she's going to fight for Bronze on Saturday (morning)...
