I have read more about Kowalczyk at a Polish sport site, http://sport.tvp.pl/39860401/kowalczyk-wraca-na-trase-dlugie-wybieganie

According to the website, Kowalczyk competes in Olos as an assistant coach who role is  "to prepare the athletes for the season. They are: Urszula Łętocha, Weronika Kaleta, Magdalena Kobielusz, Eliza Rucka, Monika Skinder, Agata Warło and Izabela Marcisz".

It's a little discouraging when your coach destroys you during a competition, I would guess :p

Still, good result for young Skinder mostly.

Well, this girls are only 17-18 years old, except Warło (21 yo) and Łętocha (24 yo) ;)

Kowalczyk, except being an assistant coach (coach himself is her old trainer Aleksandr Wierietielnyj), will start but not in WC. She decided to compete in ski marathons. Maybe she'll start at WCh in relay.

Apparently FIS doesn't acknowledge this Canadian skier, or maybe his name is too explicit for FIS live update.   He could also have the most unusual name in the world.

(By the way, the name of the Canadian skier is Russell Kennedy)

Excellent result today again for Big Lucas (the young one, the older Lucas is called Little Lucas, because logical).

I know it's all a different level than the Klaebo's of this world, but still, nice to see Paralympic medal hope Thomaz de Moraes perform well again too here.
