I know that both Antholz and Hochfilzen are essentially German venues. It is like Minsk, Oteppa and Finland are psudo-Russian venues. Oberhof looks really sad today. Although there one must add that Hochfilzen and Antholz don't seem to be problematic venues, or am I forgetting things? It feels like it's usually an excellent combination of nice sunny weather with excellent snow conditions, which is sort of perfect . I wonder if everyone picks the early numbers to avoid the mud Since last night, temperatures have dropped below zero. Then the artificial snow was applied, and the first fresh snow fell tonight. Today and Friday there should be a lot of snow again. Basically, however, it is better to run on artificial snow. At the Olympics, we also have only artificial snow. JonPhi 250 Posted January 5, 2022 #349 Share Posted January 5, 2022 In addition, a note: The route plans for this year and the world championship next year have been slightly changed again. The so-called 'Henkel loop' will be run in every race from now on. Therefore the 'Birx-Steig' will be omitted in the Single Mixed Relay.
