Wonder if Sailing is at risk as well. Suspect after June the campaigning will begin and thosw six months will be full of stories about it as stakeholders try and save their sport. Could be a bumpy ride -

Thought they would bring Russia back too. I guess they want to test the waters with Belarus. I'm glad they are getting rid of host sports. It will force them to make a decision on baseball/softball and cricket. Those stadiums are not cheap, but they do bring in a lot of revenue. -

Artistic swimming and Rhythmic gymnastics could survive because the venues are already going to be used for something else. Same with Greco Roman. Mountain Biking might be one in danger. I just dream that one day I'm going to wake up and the IOC will announce that the Cricket tournament has been upgraded to a ten NOC event and that's why they didnt release the qualification system yet. -

Wonder if 2032 will be a hybrid games wirh some sports bowling out there because the venues are already there or have started construction by the time they decide. While from 2036 onwards it be fully what the IOC wants to be there going forward, -
Following the approval of qualification systems for 49 disciplines and events for LA28 since December 2025, the IOC EB has approved qualification systems for boxing and water polo. The remaining three qualification systems (athletics, cricket and football) will be presented to the IOC Executive Board in June 2026 -

Does anyone actually care about that discrepancy. You’d think she would realise that is not particularly controversial and messing with it just looks woke.
