I still don't understand how Rafaela Silva was stripped of the gold medal, but still was allowed to compete (and earned a team bronze medal) at the Judo World Championships.

It seems Njisane Phillip tested positive, so that substracts a gold and a silver for Trinidad and Tobago, not to mention this will really hurt their chances to qualify for Tokyo in team sprint.

Also, Mexico got silver and Peru a bronze medal in men's team sprint, after both Trinidad and Tobago & Brazil got disqualied

Thank god they have Paul, but I’m sure there’ll be questions about him too now :(. It’s a shame Phillip resorted to doping. He was one of my favorite athletes around 2012. Nowadays Paul is my favorite track cyclist.

Well, Paul is most surely in Tokyo as Trinidad and Tobago in sprint is the first NOC not qualified for the team event, and they hold can't longer be pushed behind 7th place.

They will likely get another spot in keirin, as they're currently in fifth position on the list.

And a big medal favourite.....according to Trinidadians after his insane world record in Cochabamba (basically in space), after which they all reacted incredibly angry when pointing out that his time there might not mean a whole lot :p

Wait, one of the Brazilians in the team sprint got busted too?

He was busted almost instantaneously from what I remember too (which is fine because their medal was bullshit from what I remember).

Yes, that's why Peru gets a bronze, so every eligible team of that event was awarded a medal

Either way, I don't know if Peru is happy with the 2 new bronze medals, after all the 9th place at the medal table was celebrated as an achievement, and now they're 10th.

A large part of the power apparatus of the USSR was based on Jews, especially in the years shortly after WWII.   Instead of constantly writing about Jews, would be better to tell me which country Algeria has better diplomatic relations with: Tunisia or Egypt?
