I am interested to see who will actually be there.  I think that for the French, the Martin Fourcade Festival is more important, at least that is the sense I get.  The Czech's will be there.  But I do not remember even pre-COVID if the US has really ever attended.

EDIT - It Looks like Tara Geraghty Moats will be there.

Senior Men's and Woman's Super Sprint today.

On the Women's side, there are 46 starters for 30 spots in the finals.

Both Fialkova sisters are starting, Bendika, and Davidova should be the favorites.

On the Men's side, there are 56 starters for 30 spots in the finals.  Most of those scheduled to race are not major names.

If this were a winter race it would be a blizzard. But as a summer race it is just wet & windy!

Turned out to be a good women’s race; won’t post spoilers but worth watching.

It was a good, but miserable race.  That was a lot of rain.

    • The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone    Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.
    • For me they gave Canada the gold in the relay in exchange for a 1000-meter dsq gold for Dandjinou, that's how I see it. It was a battle between Kor and Can on 2 of this case. It's hard to say why that last dsq for Kor was in relay? Of course, Italy win bronze thanks for that, but that's not really important. It would have been better if the referees had just stayed out of the results and left it as it was decided for fight on the ice.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
