Grassmarket 3,233 Posted July 21, 2022 #433 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Ah no, it was Tual who started the dominoes falling. Going to take a while to fix, appeal & counter-appeal.
Monzanator 4,181 Posted July 21, 2022 #434 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Kramer stumbled three times in ten meters and that was his race done. It would almost be better if he fell and tried an appeal? Kramer actually gets in as one of FL.

What's going on? Take artistic gymnastics, for example: not a cheap sport at all, and Brazil more often than not walks away from the World Championships with a medal. In the last 16 editions, Brazil got 16 medals, with 1 medal per WC in average. Usually, there are 14 events, with WCs the year after the Olympics only supporting 12 events. In athletics, we are nowhere close this number and there are way more events.

So Jamaica always has strong sprinters, Kenya strong middle-distance runners, the USA great 400m runners, Poland big muzhik heavy throwers etc etc. You don’t get consistent success with one good long jumper, one 4x100m team, one good hurdler. Monzanator 4,181 Posted July 21, 2022 #438 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Women's 400m SF completed. New PB for Cofil 50.14, new NR for Klaver 50,18. Miller-Uibo 49.55, Paulino 49.98 and Williams 50.12 the three fastest. Anna Kielbasinska makes the final as LL with 50.65!
Monzanator 4,181 Posted July 21, 2022 #439 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Men's 400m final could be very close. Norman & Hudson-Smith had fastest times in SF but the rest was basically covered by 0,25 secs.
