Every Lithuanian is so off-form here, all I feel is pain

You should hear the Belgian commentator this morning, he's nearly finding a bridge to jump off of, damn. And this false start for Bolingo doesn't help, although it should of course be a yellow card judging by what we saw earlier in the men's semi's.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Great to see Bolingo come back from a bad knee injury by reaching the final :cheer:

There had been an earlier FS in the the 100m as well!

yes, but in decathlon the rules are different from the single disciplines...

an athlete is allowed a personal false start through the whole event, so, if it wasn't Abele to make both false starts in the 100m (and he did not), it's correct that he wasn't DQ in that moment...

he had to be DQ (and he actually was, before being reinstated) only after his personal second false start, which happened "only" in the 110 HS race...

hope I did explain it better now...

First Kojo Musah, then Axel Vang and now Benjamin Lobo Vedel won't start in the semi! :(

he knew that today he couldn't repeat himself with only 15-hour recovery time...;)

one of our 400m specialists explicitly said that those who made this schedule are a bunch of idiots (and also those who decided to have some people running 1 round less than others in disciplines different from the 100m)...

Tell me when he finds that bridge :p

I felt like I was having a heatstroke yesterday and today I woke up with a cold

I have to leave to work in an hour and the entire morning was also filled with disappointment in sports :d

On one hand I agree that this is bad, on the other hand...we'd have way more of a B-event without this. Personally I do want to see as many of the actual best European athletes compete here as possible, and that wouldn't be the case if all the top athletes had to run another round so shortly after the world championships.
