I read :GBR was the best team here? I suppose that is untrue :mumble:

Clearly got out of bed on the wrong side today or something. Disastrous perfromance

As now we come across the world
To share these Games of old
Let all the flags of every land
In brotherhood unfold

Wow, this is looking like powerhouse Australia dominating underdog Canada a couple of days ago.

Sweden dominated the stats at last worlds but lost the semi to Norway. GB won the worlds. Norway recently won a tournament at the World tour over GB in the final, a tournament where Italy didn't finish top-8. Canada has two great players but yes I would have seen GB as the favorite, considering also that Bruce Mouat has been the best male team player in the world for the last year. But I expected a tight tournament between these teams.

De Val :SWE checking the scoreboard to determine next move to start the 5th end since this is such a close match at the moment :p

This will be Oskar Erikssons third olympic medal and he will have a great chance for the fourth in the men's event. I am pretty sure that 3 medals is a record for a curling player. And yes I know none of the medals are a gold and that one is as an alternate in Sochi, and that canadian players can't get as many chances..
