Sweden dominated the stats at last worlds but lost the semi to Norway. GB won the worlds. Norway recently won a tournament at the World tour over GB in the final, a tournament where Italy didn't finish top-8. Canada has two great players but yes I would have seen GB as the favorite, considering also that Bruce Mouat has been the best male team player in the world for the last year. But I expected a tight tournament between these teams.

Swewi 300 Posted February 8, 2022 #376 Share Posted February 8, 2022 This will be Oskar Erikssons third olympic medal and he will have a great chance for the fourth in the men's event. I am pretty sure that 3 medals is a record for a curling player. And yes I know none of the medals are a gold and that one is as an alternate in Sochi, and that canadian players can't get as many chances.. Grassmarket 2,757 Posted February 8, 2022 #377 Share Posted February 8, 2022 The one consolation for Team GB is that Thomas Bach (Gold, Fencing 1976) is on hand to offer some advice on how to get the best out of room service in Five Star Hotels.
