Pro Tour Rome finals will take place tomorrow, but we already have the first overview about the qualification. It is the first qualifying event for Paris, and the only event scheduled before the Worlds, so far.

Men's Street

1- Gustavo Ribeiro :POR     9- Chris Joslin :USA             17- João Lucas Alves :BRA

1- Nyjah Huston :USA         10- Toa Sasaki :JPN             18- Hampus Winberg :SWE

1- Yuto Horigome :JPN       11- Gabryel Aguilar :BRA      19- Jihoon Jeong :KOR

1- Mauro Iglesias :ARG        12- Yukito Aoki :JPN            20- Brandon Valjalo :RSA

1- Matias Dell Olio :ARG      13- Shane O'Neill :AUS         21- Tommy Fynn :AUS

1- Aurelien Giraud :FRA       14- Kelvin Hoefler :BRA       22- Joel de Castro :ARG

1- Vincent Milou :FRA           15- Micky Papa :CAN

1- Ryan Decenzo :CAN          16- Jake Ilardi :USA

A big improvement from Argentina. For Tokyo, Matias Dell Olio got close to get a quota, and now they have three skateboarders with a good start.

End of Street Worlds, and it's time for an overview!

:FRA Aurelien Giraud is the new champion. He really deserved it, after that terrible judgement in Rome, where he already deserved the victory. :FRA is still in with Joseph Garbaccio (a great improvement) and Vicent Milou.

:POR Gustavo Ribeiro keeps his awesome moment, current SLS Champion and Silver Medal at Worlds.

:BRA is in trouble in this discipline. Only Kelvin looks capable to beat the best ones. Giovanni is improving, but yet far from the top. There are a lot of other skateboarders on the line to get their spots

:ARG had the worst performance at this event. Even though they have two good athletes getting it.

:USA Nyjah couldn't compete on this event due to an injury. The competition in USA is always complicated, but I don't think he is gonna have problems to make it. However, I believe the seven first Americans are capable to get a quota.

:JPN Yuto Horigome, Olympic Champion, didn't even advance to quaterfinals, a horrible result from him. And the internal competition is getting fierce. Onodera will be a new superstar, and the other skateboarders seem focused to get their quotas.

:COL:SVK:CAN:GER:PER are in with one athlete each. Great performance from Richard Tury, who lost his spot in Tokyo at the last event. Decenzo had a similar situation, and could participate because of points conquered by, guess, Jhancarlos Gonzalez, in his national championship. Now, both are in the qualifying positions. Angelo needed some points from this event, and he did it. Justin Sommer is the new face among the current qualifieds.

:AUS and :RSA are taking continental quotas

On the women's side

:BRA clearly Pamela, Rayssa and Gabriela are going to be our representants. Gabriela is a little bit old but she is improving. Rayssa is in her best phase, and we hope that she prolongs it till Paris. Pamela is coming back to the TOP, after a few not so good competitions.

:JPN is gonna be a huge internal competition. Among TOP 20, there are eight japanese. Akama, Nishiya and Funa are one step forward up this moment, but there isn't anything decided yet.

:NED is stiil competitive. Candy, Ross and Keet are among the best, but only Ross looks capable to compete for a medal.

:USA if Brazil is in trouble at men's side, we can say the same here for USA. Again, it's clearly that United States needs to improve their level on this discipline. So far, Mariah Duran and Paige Heyn are qualifying. They are capable to get the third quota, but no one looks capable to fight for a medal

:AUS is the opposite of USA. They are evolved a lot here since Olympics. There's a new star on the competitions Chloe Covell, who counts with the support of our former skateboarder, Letícia Bufoni. Other three girls are trying to take the last quotas.

:ESP:ARG:FRA:COL:BEL:KOR:CHN are taking one quota each. Spain had a really improvement internally. Daniela participated at semifinal in :UAE, but they have three good skaterboarders. The same can be said for Argentina, which has two girls in contender. Charlotte from France, Lore From Begium, Zeng from China, and Jazmin from Colombia are already known and their posititon on the ranking is already expected. The surprise is the girl from South Korea.

:RSA is taking the continental quota. btw, it will be a huge surprise if South Africa does not take all the four continental quotas. The upset could happen in Men's Street competition, but Brandon is a few miles ahead of even him compatriots.

Can someone explain this to me. Why are countries like :GBR in green on the street rankings when they haven't qualified anyone.

Thanks for noticing that. It was a mistake

I added these green marks only to reach the visualization until the last qualified athlete (Usually the African one, who isn't close to the top)

But, it actually doesn't make sense with that legend. I've just fixed it.
