Central American and Caribbean Games 2018

Today's last match in men's handball between Colombia and the Dominican Republic has apparently been cancelled. Either the Dominicans didn't show in the end, or they couldn't arrive on time, just like Puerto Rico's 3x3 yesterday :mumble:

Probably they couldn't arrive on time?

But unlike 3x3 (which was simply given a walkover), the Handball match is currently rescheduled for July 30th - probably because this tournament will qualify for the Pan American Games and it would be terrible to lose a match for a reason like that...

Currently streaming BMX finals in women. Final results will be decided in 3 races.

Currently, Stephanie Hernandez in third place, after crashing in the second one.

In the Men’s heats the curaçao riders just crashed, which all but eliminated them. This sucks because they looked like serious medal contenders

    • Regarding the swimming they have added the 800m for men and the 1500m for women so cutting numbers would be odd.
    • That quota I’ve been told by an athlete aiming to qualify who I know online.
    • Has the quota for Canada been offically confirmed anyway, or is that just a rumour? I can't find anything on google about it (nor the suggested quota for England's athletes someone posted earlier).   12 per gender would make sense (it's roughly what Canada sent to Birmingham). 12 overall seems dumb.

    • In the past few games, Canada (and other nations) was given an overall athlete quota which they then divided it through the various sports.
