  1. Either way, the whole situation is a little iffy. Fair? If it's the rule, sure. But they shouldn't wait until the end of competition to announce he is disqualified - especially considering that he broke the WR This gives a bad look for those involved including the ukranian team, even though they protested before the start.
  2. Football 5-a-side semifinals vs vs Men's Goalball semifinals vs vs Women's Wheelchair Basketball semifinals vs vs
  3. Such a disgrace! They even gave him a DNS like the whole thing never happened
  4. Brazil had a chance to win a silver medal in Cycling, but then our athlete crashed and ended in 4th
  5. China knocks out Japan in men's Goalball which in retrospect isn't that surprising, but given how good Japan was playing here I thought they had it in the bag.
  6. And Eliseu is out
  7. Yeltsin Jacques wins his second gold medal in Tokyo, this time in 1500m T11 with a new WR. This is the 100th gold medal at the history of the Paralympic Games for
  8. Wheelchair Basketball quarterfinals: Men's vs vs vs vs Women's vs vs vs vs
  9. Goalball quarterfinals: Men's vs vs vs vs Women's vs vs vs vs
  10. First ever Paralympic gold medal for with Dinesh Priyantha in javelin throw (he won bronze in 2016).
  11. It seems like they finally started to show Sitting Volleyball live.
  12. It seems like she underscored every other team and overscored . How is this even allowed?
  13. From 2008 to 2016 Brazil had only 3 female individual Paralympic champions. And now we have 3 in a single day
  14. First ever Powerlifting gold for Amazing result for Mariana d'Andrea who 5 years ago in Rio failed all her attempts.
  15. A Bronze for Renê Pereira in Rowing
  16. The reaction of the crowd says it all. This is a very difficult trick and we didn't see a lot of those today
  17. Impressive performance from Jéssica Messali in Triathlon PTWC (4th place finish), especially considering what she endured in the last two months (third degree burns in her feet at the start of July, which led to 10 surgical procedures in 25 days and loss of 6 toes).
  18. After 4 days we have the same top 6 of my predictions (just swap Great Britain and RPC), with Brazil, Netherlands and Italy also in the top 10. Only surprise is in 7th but most of their medals are from Judo, so I don't know how long they can hold this position. Also Germany didn't win a single gold medal so far, and even though they can improve in the next days, I don't know anymore if they'll reach top 10 (which would be the first time they're out since 2008). Japan with 2 gold medals and 15th place so far might be looking for top 10.
  19. What an amazing day for Brazil with 4 gold medals
  20. After a disappointing result in Rio, Herbert Aceituno gets the first ever Paralympic medal for with his bronze in Powerlifting. A result that will be even more celebrated since El Salvador also never won a medal at the Olympics.
  21. Amazing WR for Nick Mayhugh in 100m T37 with 10.97. He also plays CP Football, a sport that sadly isn't in the Paralympics anymore.
  22. And Silvania does it again Excellent session for us.
