    Nice result from Kawan Pereira, first time qualifies for a Diving final (in 2016 Brazil participated in the synchronized finals, but that didn't require qualification)

    Tandara is out of the Games after a doping violation. Not much has been revealed yet, but the test was carried by the brazilian anti-doping agency and just informed to the brazilian olympic committee, which has suspended the athlete who is returning to Brazil. I think Brazil will be fine without her (she was already replaced in QF) but this could have a big emotional toll on the team.

    A sign that the Games are coming to an end is that Brazil barely will have any people competing today, so I'll probably watch vs in Volleyball, sleep and just wake up in time for the other Volleyball semifinal.

    Douglas was right there, but sadly was underused. The fact that Brazil got to SF having Thales as a libero is a miracle (but I agree the coach is the one to blame). I want a medal purely to boost Brazil on medal table, but we all know they only care about gold.
