  2. As the last 2 Olympics have proven, this isn't necessarily great - winner of the easiest group in London (Russia) and Rio (Brazil) went on to lose in quarterfinals.
  3. Brazil will play, but players will protest (whatever that means, 'cause for me the most meaningful protest would be simply not participate).
  4. Olympic quotas confirmed for and . That's the first time Costa Rica qualified an athlete in Gymnastics. Full results.
  5. Rumours that brazilian players from european clubs are planning a boycott, and other nations will follow. The coach might be fired.
  6. @thiago_simoeswas right. The last group of gymnasts won't come close to score.
  7. Surprised to see Yamilet Peña still competing. Sadly, not in great shape (only 12.567 on vault which I guess is her best event).

  15. Surprised to see that Calvo is out of Tokyo (only the second colombian, with a score below 80).
  16. TEAM Men Henrique Avancini Luiz Henrique Cocuzzi Women Jaqueline Mourão
  17. Thankfully almost everyone is against the tournament and most cities don't want the "honour" of hosting this. At the current state of South America (political and otherwise), Copa América should 100% be postponed for at least another year.
  18. It will be tragic if Jade or Lorrane get the quota instead of Rebeca.
  19. No counting the Rio Games (450+ athletes), record for was Beijing 2008 (277). It will be hard (if not impossible) to surpass this number this year. Thankfully for us, quality > quantity.
  20. I remember the countless articles regarding the zika virus threat... then the Games came and there wasn't a single case (reported, at least).
